Well seems it might be an issues caused by riot once against adding items and updating data on live servers. Like 2 weeks ago when Gnar was released they updated the servers live and immediately afterwards all hell was erupting in game. The store went down and due to hours of live maintenance everything ran like shit.
Riot! Come-on guys, you should take live servers down for a certain time to apply patches and content changes. Doing so would make things run so much nicer for both sides resulting in you having to spend less money on bringing in more Tech's to save your butts once again.
If you are going to run a live server this size, you do your patches on a private server throughout the week, then on update time, you take servers down at a certain time in each region when servers are the least active. So what so many may not like it. 1hr of downtime for updates and so on can save you a lot more money and make a lot more happy gamers.
